In-Home Sound Baths

What is a sound bath?
Experience deep relaxation with a guided sound bath designed to restore your nervous system and reconnect you with inner stillness. As you lie on a soft yoga mat, wrapped in a cozy blanket, the gentle chime of a bell floats through the air. A deep, resonant gong joins in, followed by the soothing sounds of soft rain. These healing sound frequencies surround you, inviting you to unwind, let go, and drift into a state of complete relaxation for 60-90 minutes.

What will happen?
  • Your breathing slows and deepens

  • Blood pressure naturally lowers

  • Cortisol levels drop

  • Cellular repair activates

  • Mood-balancing hormones like dopamine return to equilibrium

You may feel your body vibrate in tune with the music at first—then soften into stillness. Many describe this as a place between consciousness and sleep: a gentle, blissful release.

Where does Attune conduct sound baths?
We've had the pleasure of conducting in-home sound baths for bachelorettes, family gatherings, book club getaway weekends, corporate retreats, and birthday parties. We work in Bellevue, Seattle, Tacoma, Vashon and the Kitsap County region. We're happy to come to you or we can host you on Vashon in the home studio which holds up to 4 people.

How much does a sound bath cost?

Sound bathing is $125/hour and we'll be happy to bring the yoga mats, bolsters, blankets, eye masks, and lavender sachets. We include a small fee for travel expenses if you're out in Gold Bar, Index, or by Mt. Rainier.

Why is a sound bath so relaxing?

When you're wide awake, the cells in your brain are bubbling around at a frequency of roughly 12.5 to 30 Hz. Singing bowls can help move your brain cells to a slower frequency of Alpha state which is around 8 to 12 Hz and gongs even lower around 4 to 8 Hz. Put simply, Beta state is awake and active. Alpha state is relaxed and sitting by the beach. Theta state is lucid dreaming and cellular regeneration. It works because your brain like the rest of your body is highly water dense - and guess what is conductive? Water! So, I play a singing bowl and your brain and body cells respond to the sound by vibrating at that same frequency. As I play more deeply - your cells begin to get comfortable at that frequency and replicate it themselves. Soon, you're gently floating in a dreamlike state and your body is doing what it does best when it's relaxed - healing muscle tissue, reducing cortisol, and recovering from everyday life.

Can we add a Tarot reading?

Yes! We love to include a card pull for you and your friends. We include a group reading in the sound bath fee and if you want to add individual tarot readings, we charge a $40 add on fee which covers an individual card pull and psychic reading for everyone attending.

Is a sound bath the same thing as Sound Therapy?

No. A sound bath is all about an intimate community setting. You will likely experience emotional release and deep relaxation. However, we are not sharing a collective intention to support healing of past trauma, chronic pain or support you in dealing with symptoms from anxiety,  ADHD, depression,  and panic disorder. This is 1-to-1 work which Susanna offers in Individual Sound Therapy sessions.
